ZN-7100-DE500-G

The Most Robust Enterprise-Class Outdoor Wi-Fi Access Point Delivers Outstanding Coverage, Performance and Reliability for Service Providers

Perfectly designed for 3G/4G offload, wireless broadband access and multimedia hotspots, the ZN-7100-DE500-G delivers unprecedented performance featuring purpose built capabilities for the service provider market such as a single fiber uplink, IP67 rated enclosure and support of high-density users.

Operating at both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies, supporting a maximum data rate of 300Mbps per radio and QoS traffic prioritization, it is especially ideal for environments with demands of extending range and service latency sensitive applications such as Voice and Video over Wi-Fi. Able to survive in harsh outdoor environments, the ZN-7100-DE500-G withstand high and low temperatures, persistent moisture and precipitation, and fully sealed to keep out airborne contaminants. All electrical interfaces include industrial-strength surge protection.

Besides performing as a stand-alone access point, the ZN-7100-DE500-G can be centrally managed by Zcomax AP Controllers. When managed by AP controllers, the ZN-1000-ZBS provides centralized data traffic forwarding and local data forwarding, plus wireless network configuration, security encryption, network authentication as well as user access policies.

Benefits

Enables a variety of services for service providers
The ZN-7100-DE500-G now enables new revenue-generating services for service providers such as Wi-Fi for 3G/4G, mobile data offload, wireless broadband access, urban and sub-urban outdoor public venue hotspots in environments such as campuses, hotel pool areas, stadium, harbor docks, and other harsh environments.

Unprecedented range, performance and reliability
With 802.11n with 2x2 multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technology and dual-band radios, the ZN-7100-DE500-G sustains up to 300 Mbps rates per radio over a long distance with external high gain.

Smart RF management optimizes throughput and mitigates interference
The automatic channel selection and transmit output power adjustment optimize Wi-Fi client performance and ensure that APs stay clear of RF interference.

Flexible operating modes
The ZN-7100-DE500-G offers a variety of operating modes to meet your network management and deployment requirements. It can be flexibly deployed as a standalone wireless Access Point or as a managed Access Point controlled by Zcomax AP controllers. In addition, it supports bridge mode at 5G as a extension to the Ethernet and fiber backhaul.

Able to survive in harsh environment
Support for standard 802.3at Power over Ethernet reduces deployment costs with simpler installation and easy placement in optimal locations. IP-67 water and dust proof plastic enclosure with flexible mounting options ensures that no distortion of Wi-Fi signals is introduced to meet rugged outdoor requirements.

Guaranteed multicast streaming
The only proven QoS system for IPTV, IGMP converts multicast traffic to unicast, delivering video traffic to each subscriber at the highest data rate that the client is capable of supporting.

Increased efficiency and capacity
Spectrum Navigation directs dual-band clients to the 5Ghz radio where there is less interference and more channels available while load balancing directs clients to less congested APs, distributing client load evenly across APs.

Save low CapEx and OpEx
The TCO of building Wi-Fi networks for offload is allegedly around a tenth of that of 3G/4G network equivalents. Applications like wireless broadband access or high-bandwidth video surveillance over Wi-Fi save high cost of installing cables over long distances.
